Jeweller’s Promise
Every piece is handcrafted by me in my Brisbane studio. Whether one-of-a-kind or part of a small batch, I create jewellery that’s unique, meaningful, and never mass-produced.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
You’ll fall in love with these one-of-a-kind mismatched dangle earrings, each crafted by hand to capture the unique combination of gemstones. Featuring rich rhodolite garnets and mesmerising boulder opals, they’re designed to stand out with a stunning contrast of colours and textures. The deep, merlot colour of the garnets and the opals' shifting play of light come together in a way that feels both edgy and playful.
I’ve carefully hand-carved each piece in silver to add a touch of sophistication, while the mismatched design adds a bold statement. These earrings are more than just a fashion statement—they’re a reflection of creativity and individuality that will make them the perfect addition to your earring stack or collection!

HANDCRAFTED PROCESS & FINISH
Each piece is individually hand-carved, cast, and finished using traditional jewellery-making techniques. Because of this process, you may notice subtle variations in the metal surface, including gentle patterns or tonal shifts in certain areas.
These characteristics are a natural result of casting and hand-finishing and are not structural flaws. They do not affect the strength, durability, or wearability of the piece. Rather, they are part of what makes each design truly one of a kind, reflecting its handmade origin rather than a mass-produced finish.
Every piece is carefully inspected and finished to ensure it meets a high standard of quality while preserving the integrity and character of the handmade process.
MATERIALS
Sterling Silver
Crafted in solid 925 Sterling Silver, chosen for its durability, wearability, and timeless cool tone. Suitable for everyday wear and designed to age beautifully over time.
9ct Gold
Made using solid 9ct gold, an alloy valued for its strength, longevity, and warm, subtle yellow hue. Its durability makes it well suited to pieces intended for regular wear.
Please note: If you have known metal sensitivities or allergies, it’s best to consider this before purchasing, as alloy compositions can vary.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is a metal that can naturally tarnish and turn dull over time. To keep your sterling silver looking shiny, store your jewellery pieces away from moisture, harsh chemicals (including household chemicals), perfumes and lotions. It is recommended you remove your jewellery before swimming, bathing and hand washing.
One of the best ways to prevent sterling silver jewellery from tarnishing is by wearing it. Your skin's oils can help to keep the jewellery clean and maintain its brilliance.
Cleaning can also be done easily with a silver polishing cloth (I recommend a Sunshine Polishing Cloth), but avoid the cloth coming into contact with any gemstones and/or gold vermeil.
9ct Gold
9ct Gold can lose its shine. Keep it looking its best by storing your jewellery pieces away from moisture, harsh chemicals (including household chemicals), perfumes and lotions. It is recommended you remove your jewellery before swimming, bathing and hand washing.
You can easily clean your 9ct gold jewellery by soaking it in some lukewarm water and after a couple of minutes, scrubbing it gently with a soft toothbrush and mild soap.
Gemstones
Skeleton Coast Jewellery takes pride in selecting natural gemstones and diamonds that are completely unique and one-of-a-kind. These stones may contain inclusions which do not signify a flaw within the stone, but rather the individuality of something that has been created by Earth many lifetimes ago.
It should be noted that gemstones and even diamonds can break if they aren’t handled with care. The pressure and angle of impact are the main contributing factors. Please contact me with any questions regarding gemstone and diamond care.
